Pedals for Change: Cycle Awareness and Plastic Clean-up Drive at Sanjay Gandhi National Park

On October 2, 2023, the TCSC Green Club, in collaboration with  Mumbai March  organized a Cycle Awareness 🚴 and Plastic Clean-up 🧹 Drive at the renowned Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) that was a remarkable demonstration of environmental care.

The event aims to promote sustainable travel and highlight the importance of environmentally friendly transportation in our daily lives. Together, participants cycled through SGNP's lush green landscape, spreading the message of environmental conservation and the importance of adopting cycling as a green alternative. This event not only fosters community awareness but also helps raise awareness of the urgent need to reduce carbon emissions. Green-shirted cyclists rode the picturesque trails of SGNP, promoting environmentally friendly transportation options and lowering carbon emissions. 

At the same time, the Clean Up the Plastic Campaign🧹 saw volunteers meticulously walking throughout the park, collecting plastic waste and raising awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastic. this eco-friendly initiative brought together dedicated individuals to sweep away plastic waste, fostering a cleaner, greener future for our beloved city.

TCSC Green Club activity not as it were showcased the control of community-driven natural activity but too served as a confirmation to the collective commitment towards a maintainable and eco-conscious Mumbai. The occasion was a resonating victory, clearing out a positive affect on both members and the environment, fortifying the significance of such activities in cultivating a greener tomorrow. 🌿
